Memory Verse Quiz - Cancelled

The Memory Verse Quiz that we were supposed to have October 30th is cancelled entirely. We will start with a new verse Monday, November 23rd and have the quiz Thursday December 3rd.

We will have a memory verse quiz Friday, October 30th over 1 John 5:14. We are finishing up our study on Daniel.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Memory Verse

We will have a memory verse quiz Thursday, October 15th. We will also be concluding our studies on Joshua and will be moving on to Daniel next week.

Math REquiz

The math quiz yesterday was MUCH better than the first one. Thank you for practicing and reinforcing the skills with your child at home. The quiz will come home in the communication folder on Friday.

Memory Verse

Our second grade Bible curriculum is all about different biblical heroes. The first that we have been studying is Moses. We have been talking about Moses' humility and his courage. We will be talking this week about the plagues that God sent down upon Egypt and the courage Moses had to continue to go back to Pharaoh each time.

This week's memory verse is:
"Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord commanded them." Exodus 7:6
